This is an odd one. I'm using VideoPsalm 1.27, 18th February 2024. I imported a PowerPoint ppx with 30 slides just before the Presentation. VideoPsalm "saw" the PowerPoint but identified 0 slides present and just moved to the next item on the Agenda when I tried to present it. I tried importing more then once but with the same result. I had not moved the original PowerPoint during this. Later, when I had more time, I did the same - with the same effect - but this time I saved the Agenda and closed VideoPsalm. When I restarted VideoPsalm, there was the PowerPoint with all 30 slides. I'm using Windows 10. 1.27 is a real improvement on 1.26 and handles PowerPoints well - until this time. As I said - this is an odd one.

PowerPoint requirements
VideoPsalm has PowerPoint issues under some circumstances.
To reduce the issues, you can try the following:
1. Use PowerPoint 2010 or higher.
2. Before starting VideoPsalm, make sure that all PowerPoint instances are closed.
It is a good idea to check with the Windows Task Manager and force-close PowerPnt.exe.
(Sometimes PowerPoint keeps opened, even when there is no PowerPoint window in the task bar).
3. Refrain from using looping PowerPoint presentations.
4. While controlling a PowerPoint presentation, try not to click on the presentation window, so as to not give the focus to this window.
