I really like the feature that allows PowerPoint slides to be unchecked so they are skipped when displaying the presentation. However, the checked/unchecked status does not seem to be saved with the Agenda. With some PowerPoint slides unchecked, if I save the Agenda, then remove all items or close and restart VideoPsalm, then load the Agenda, all PowerPoint slides are checked.
Could the checked/unchecked status of PowerPoint slides be saved with the Agenda?
I'm using VideoPsalm version 1.27.24049 released 2/18/2024.
Thank you for informing of the problem. I added this bug to the list of things to correct, and it will hopefully be corrected in the next version.
Thank you!
A related feature/option that I would like to see is the ability to check/uncheck a PowerPoint slide without also selecting that slide.
Here is an example of the current behavior:
I have 10 slides in a presentation, all checked. When I am showing slide 2, I find out that I will not need to project slide 6 when we get to that part of the presentation. I uncheck slide 6, which also causes slide 6 to becomes the active slide and immediately be displayed on the presentation screen.
I can work around this by making a note that slide 2 is the active slide, freezing the live screen, unchecking slide 6 (which makes slide 6 active), clicking on slide 2 to make it active again, then unfreezing the live screen.
The behavior I would like to see is:
When I am showing slide 2, I find out that I will not need to project slide 6 when we get to that part of the presentation. I uncheck slide 6. The active slide is not changed, so slide 2 is still displayed on the presentation screen.
Clicking elsewhere on a slide (outside of the check box) would make that slide active as usual. The change I'm requesting is that clicking in the check box would only check or uncheck the slide and not make the slide active.
Would this be possible, either as the default behavior or as a user-selectable option?
