Powerpoint skipping back to start

Is anyone else getting issues with powerpoint slides (eg for sermon) skipping back to the start?

Using both versions 1.26 and 1.27beta I've found that when we import a powerpoint file, after you have advanced slides the focus (indicated by the blue box on the slide thumbnail) jumps back to the first slide. This means that if you use the arrow keys (or a clicker) to go to the next slide rather it advances from where the focus is (ie slide one) rather than what is currently being shown. When the focus jumps back to the start the screen keeps displaying the correct slide, it is only when you try to advance that the wrong next slide is displayed.

Anyone else seen this or got suggestions?
