Problem with new 1.27 beta August 6th

After dowloading new add-ons of August 6th, Videopsalm is each time moving to the next verse when augmenting or decreasing on the volume on the volume button on the computer. Could this be a bug in the new version. Thanks so much !

Hello Piet, My attempts to reproduce this problem have been unsuccessful.

Could you please provide detailed steps/actions on how to reproduce the issue.

Which buttons do I need to click and in what order?

Good evening!

I'm having the same issues with this. I had a previous version of this software installed before, and I wasn't having any issues with that version. Here's what I'm now experiencing with 1.27:

F1, F2, and F3 (which are tied to my computer's volume keys) makes VideoPsalm scroll through verses of songs in order. The desired action would be for it to stay on the verse being displayed, and not change verses when any of these keys are pressed.

In addition, the number keys (1-9) are no longer mapping to the verses, and doesn't scroll to the corresponding verse when you press the number on the keyboard.

Are these 2 issues related? Is there something I can do on my end to get the keyboard mappings changed?

Hi Compartist,

Thank you for your detailed description.

I corrected the bug with keys (1-9) that were no longer mapped to the verses and the correction will be available in the next.1.27 (beta).

I could not reproduce the bug with F1, F2 and F3, so let me know if you still experience it. This new version should be available in a few weeks.

Hello. Videopsalm on my computer keeps freezing and shutting down randomly. It's been doing this for two weeks and I haven't updated it recently. Can this be resolved with an update, or is this something new? Thank very much.

Thanks for letting me know.

When VideoPsalm crashes, it usually displays a dialog with a description or hint for the crash.

If there is no visible error message, the error is probably related to a driver (video, etc.) crash and will be logged in the Windows event log.

Please send me the crash information you find there to videopsalm@gmail.com.

If the crash occurs while VideoPsalm displays a video background, try the following:

1. Update your PC video driver to the latest version.

2 . Start VideoPsalm -> Top toolbar -> "Edit" tab -> "Options" button -> "Video" tab -> Unselect "Use hardware acceleration" option.
