It would be great to have more than one profile for style preferences, such as layout for header/body/footer, font settings, symbols per screen for bibles, etc.
The main concern is target display we can use at different times and places. Once it may be a huge projector screen, the other day it can be 24" display or a TV screen on the wall. All these different setups require specific adjustments. e.g.: worship team on the stage, screen is behind them and part of the screen is hidden by their heads and bodies. In this case all the lyrics will stick to the top edge and occupy at list 2/3 of the screen, leaving its bottom free of text. For TV or laptop display in use it is more convenient to fill all the useful area with text, using bigger font size, enabling people with vision issues to see all we present.
Hello Denys,
Thanks for your "Multi-profile style" feature suggestion.
It certainly makes sense.
To achieve this in version 1.27, here's what you can do:
Suppose you have 3 profiles:
a) Large screen
b) 24" display
c) TV screen
1. Start VideoPsalm.
2. For the "Large screen" display profile:
Adjust styles, fonts, size, header, body and footer areas for songbooks and Bibles.
Restrict your style modifications to "Base", "Songbooks" and "Bibles".
3. Put a song in the agenda, any song.
This is just so you can save the agenda.
4. Save the agenda, naming it Profile 'Large Screen'.
An agenda contains everything you need to reproduce a presentation on another PC/VideoPsalm.
It therefore contains the styles of "Base", "Songbooks", "Bibles", any images and videos, etc.
5. Repeat from step 2 for the 24" display profile, then for the TV screen profile.
That's how to get started.
Now, one important thing is to understand and manage the "Agenda open" shields.

Cascading styles - Additional read
VideoPsalm uses the concept of cascading style attributes, enabling you to define in the fewest clicks the style at any level : song verse, song, songbook, all songbooks, base.
When you are about to change, let's say, the background, verify the "Style" section, in the top toolbar, at the left.
There will be a drop-down menu to select the level (song verse, song, songs, songbook, etc.).
Make sure you select "Song", that way all the changes for background will apply to the whole song (all song verses).
The following articles describe how to make best use of cascading styles:
(the articles often consider the background, however the same principle applies to all style settings like font, colors, font size, etc.)

Then on Sunday morning, proceed as follows:
1. Start VideoPsalm.
2. Deactivate the "Agenda open" style shield (green).
3. Open the agenda with the appropriate profile (Large screen, 24" display or TV screen).
VideoPsalm will set its styles according to those of the agenda.
4. Activates again the "Agenda open" style shield.
5. Opens today's agenda, with songs, etc., which may have been prepared on another PC.
The agenda styles will not be loaded, but everything else will be.
