Displaying Author and copyright in footer

I am trying to display author and copyright in the footer for songs. I have gone into the edit settings and added the fields, but despite this I can't get the author nor the copyright to show. I managed to pick up the Song title and church licence though.

Hi Brad,

To display author and copyright in the footer:

1. Click the "Songbooks" button:

This will show the songbooks properties in the middle panel.

2. In the "footer fields", type the following text:

[Song title]

<s700><i>([Song author])

[Song copyright]

[Church licence]</i></s>

Thanks for the suggestion, but sadly it hasn't solved my problem. One of my songbooks is showing the details but the other - which is songs I imported from OpenLp - isn't. Any suggestions as to why it is working for one songbook and not another?

The reason could be that the other songbook has a footer defined without song author and copyright.

Can you send me an agenda containing a song that shows properly and another song that doesn't?

This will enable me to give you detailed instructions.

I had checked the song had author and copyright. But it seems to be working now. Thanks.
