To solve the brightness problem, follow these steps:
1. Start VideoPsalm 1.27.
2. In the top-toolbar, click the "Background" tab.
3. Select the "Base" style level:
From now on, the "Base" style attributes will be displayed in the toolbar.
4. Press the green "Show style level badge" button:
This will display a badge on top of the properties that have a "modified" value at the currently selected style level (at the moment, the "Base" style level is selected).
4. In the "Brightness" group, you will see that the "Brightness" has now an orange "Brush" icon:
This means that it has a modified value.
You see that its value is not in the middle, it is to the right of the middle.
Click this orange "Brush" icon, to reset the value to its default (in the middle of the range).
Display a song verse to check that the problem is now gone.
5. Save your changes:
6. Make sure that the problem doesn't come back when you open a previously saved agenda.
Any agenda that you saved in the past may contain this "Brightness" property set like before, at the "Base" style level.
When you reopen such an agenda, it will try to set the brightness back to the modified value.
To prevent this, set the VideoPsalm "Agenda open" shields on:
