Is it possible to organise background images into different folders? I have tried creating folders but they don't show. For example a folder for Christmas Backgrounds and one for Easter?
Thank you for describing your scenario. It makes a lot of sense.I added your feature request to the list of things to do.
At the moment, what you can do is:
Open the SongPro background parent folder in a Windows File Explorer.
Select all the files from a sub-folder, right-click on the selection and select "Properties".
In the dialog that opens, in the "Details" tab, type the name of the folder in the "Tag" field. This will assign the folder name to all selected backgrounds.
Repeat step 3 for all folders (and their backgrounds).
When you are finished tagging all backgrounds, open again the the SongPro background parent folder. In the search field (at the top right), search for all the images, for example by typing *.*This will select all files.Copy all these files and paste them into the VideoPsalm background folder.
Normally, this task will not take much time, even for hundreds of backgrounds.
Hi Martin,
While your suggestion seems like a good idea, a background can only be put in one folder.
Instead, put all images in the Backgrounds folder and assign one or more "tags" to each file.
When you search for a background, enter a tag in the VideoPsalm search area.
VideoPsalm will instantly filter your images.
This is a flexible way to assign multiple tags to an image.
Does this work for you?
