At the moment, when you copy a song verse, only the text is copied in the Windows Clipboard. The formatting is ignored.
Thank you for your feature request.
I added it to the list of things to do.
Maybe the following workflow can help in your situation:
Right-click on the song.
Select "Copy song to", and select the songbook to copy the song to.
You end up with a full copy of the song (a new song actually), including the formatting of the source song.
