I added your feature to the list of things to do, however I don't know when it will be implemented.
The reason why VideoPsalm has style "levels" is simply because it enables the operator to adjust his slides either globally, without sacrificing the fine tuning at the slide level.
I would be intrested in know what you find to be too complicated? Personally I like the VideoPsalms method. I only quickly tested OpenLp for a few hours probably 10 years ago at this point so I'm not sure what the workflow was like over there but I would like to hear
