I've been using VS for a few years and really enjoying it. Thank you!
My request is to be able to relocate panes.
The problem I have it that some songs have a lot of verses, choruses, a bridge and a tag. The list is so long that they begin to drop below the preview pane to where they can't be seen by those running VideoPsalm.
I would like to be able to drag and drop various panes to the location of my choice. I understand that I can drag them to make them smaller, and I've done that to be able to see all of the content of various longer songs. But if I could relocate the preview pane, it would really help a lot.
Thanks!
Hi Steve,
Thank you for your feedback.
I am afraid that it is not possible to move the preview panel to another location.
I added your suggestion to the list of things to do, and depending on popular demand, it will be implemented in a future version.
However, here are some recommendations and ideas.
1. The recommended VideoPsalm version is 1.27 (beta), available here:
https://bit.ly/VideoPsalm_1_27_Setup_beta
Under other improvements and new features, it improves a lot the panel resizing.
You can read about it here:
https://videopsalm.wixsite.com/videopsalm/forum/_tips/the-videopsalm-panels
2. In 1.27, you can collapse the preview panel with one click.
Enable this mode in the VideoPsalm options:
Top toolbar -> "Edit" tab -> "Options" button -> "Options" dialog -> "Display" tab -> "Show panel minimize buttons"
Once enabled, click the horizontal splitter over the preview panel to collapse the panel.
3. To get more verses displayed in the slide panel:
- Collapse the top toolbar (double-click on the "Text" tab title).
https://myvideopsalm.weebly.com/blog/show-or-hide-the-toolbar
- Increase the slide panel width, so that long lines will not break into 2 lines.
- Reduce the VideoPsalm text size:
Top toolbar -> "Edit" tab -> "Options" button -> "Options" dialog -> "Display" tab -> Adjust/reduce the "Font size".
Does this help?
Hmm, I left a reply yesterday but it's not here.
Thank you so much for the reply and info.
Maybe it's something the developers can consider.
But again, thanks for a great program!
