(de)Select all verses from a song at once

in Feature requests

when adding a song to the agenda there is an option to (de)select particular verses.

Sometimes the pastor does not want to sing all verses of a song.

Then there is the option to deselect certain verses. And using shortcut keys will skip the unselected verses.

But when there are a lot of verses ( psalm 119 has 66 verses if i recall) this can ben quite tedious.

Can you add an option to select or deselect all verses from a song.

I remember adding this feature to the list of things to do, and somehow it got lost in the shuffle, sorry...

Well, since you first asked for this feature some time ago, it is now possible to define verse orders:

Would the "verse order" feature help you with your task in Psalm 119?

That is also a great feature i would not have thought of using to select only a view verses; We use that to preserve an alternative verse order for future use. But requires the song to be saved. Whereas the (de)selected verses are stored in the agenda can be used with the songbooks being read only ;-)...

When you create a new verse order for a song, it is added to the song in its songbook, thus marking the songbook as modified.

Note that you can assign a different verse order to the song when it is in the agenda.

Try the following:

Select some Bible verses.
Add the Bible verses to the agenda.
In the agenda, right-click the Bible verses and make them editable in the "Bible verses" songbook. This converts the Bible verses into a song.
In the agenda, right-click the "Bible verses" song, and select "Verse order" -> "Edit verse orders". This will open the "Verse orders" of that "song".
Create a new "Verse order" for this song.
When you click "OK" to save your changes, VideoPsalm will prompt you with "Do you want to assign the verse order "blablabla" to the agenda song?" Answer "Yes". The song will be marked as modified in its songbook, and in the songbook.
Save the agenda.
When you later exit VideoPsalm, skip saving the changes to the "Bible verse songbook". The agenda contains the verse orders, so you won't loose it.
