After searching for a specific verse, it would be great if viewing the rest of the chapter was a click-away.
As of now, once I search for a verse, it displays on the screen. But, if the previous or following verses are need (for context), I have to go back to Bibles panel, select the whole book, add to the agenda, then scroll through the slide panel to the verses. This is a lot of time for people to wait for the verses.
But, if the rest of the chapter was readily available, the verses could just populate the same panel.
Is there a better way to do this task, or can this feature be added to later versions?
Thank you for your feature request.
We are aware of the problem and it will be corrected in VideoPsalm 2.0.
There will be a new toolbar on top of the Bible verses, over the top right panel, to add the previous or next Bible verse, or up to the chapter start or end.
To do this already in the currently 1.27 (beta) version, use the following shortcut keyboard keys:
Shortcuts for Bible verse selection
While the slide panel contains one or more Bible verses and has the focus, press following keys to increase/decrease the verse selection:
Add next Bible verse Ctrl + *
Add previous Bible verse Ctrl + /
Remove next Bible verse Shift + *
Remove previous Bible verse Shift + /
These shortcuts work in the latest 1.27 (beta) only.
At our church we type the book and the chapter into the search feild and then we click on the specific verse in the right panel. This allows us to easily be able to switch between verse: jumping back and going to the next verse. Hope that helps.
Nice to hear that it's going to have a better workflow in version 2.0
